Yes, after a great deal of research thanks to GOOGLE AI Search, I have found that I can make the struts out of CARBON FIBER!

I asked Google AI Search the following question: if I used a 1.5 INCH DIAMETER piece of SOLID CARBON FIBER for my 15 FOOT struts, would these struts withstand 250 MPH WINDS?

YES!

Then Google AI Search went on to say the following:

“Because wind force decreases linearly as the diameter shrinks, reducing the size of the rod actually lowers the overall wind load it experiences. Standard carbon fiber has an incredibly high tensile and flexural strength (often exceeding 150,000 psi), meaning a much thinner rod can handle these extreme forces.”

I had originally started out with 3.5 INCHES until Google AI Search showed me I could obtain the same FLEXURAL STRENGTH with 1.5 INCHES!

It even gave me the mathmatical computations for it’s answer!

This will cut the costs of the struts considerably!
